I bought 2 of these on offer at $13. This is the newer LED upgrade to Warsun X65. Main difference is the more efficient LED used in the X50 and the removal of the belt clip. Both arrived well packed and tested working well with 3AA nimh Decent out put on High mode. Large beam spread when zoomed out. Colour temperature more on the blueish side. Weight and size is heavier and more bulky than my sunwayman D40A (4xAA) I have been looking for a budget LED torche with Cree XML and runs on AA batteries. These provide longer run times are easier to come by anywhere in the world compared with AAA batteries (or lithium's). This is a bright flashlight. I have several lights that use 18650 batteries but I wanted one that uses traditional AAs. The light is made of quality components. It is also zoomable. Yet it is supposed to be waterproof to standard IPX-7. I bought it on the basis of reviews on budgetlightforum. I am using Amazon Basic AAs that are made in Japan, so are probably really Panasonic Eneloop Pros (the black ones).
